Restore Neurobehavioral Centers provide community based, residential services specializing in both the treatment as well as life long support of adults who have experienced a brain injury. Restore’s programs are specifically designed to treat individuals with moderate to severe maladaptive behaviors as a consequence to a brain injury.
Restore offers two distinct levels of care:
- Post-Acute Residential Rehabilitation Program
- Supported Living Programs (also known as Community Living)
Summary of Typical Client Demographics
Referrals to our Post Acute Rehabilitation Program come from a wide variety of sources. TBI (traumatic brain injury) is the primary diagnosis for 82% of our clients. Over 64% of clients admitted to our Post Acute Rehabilitation Program are referred as soon as they are medically stable (3 months or less from the date of injury) from hospital units, specialized rehabilitation hospitals or insurance case managers. The remaining 36% of our clients range from 6 months to 10 years from the date of injury. Approximately 20% of clients admitted, regardless of time since onset of injury, are also challenged with various health issues including diabetes, seizure disorders, orthopedic and/or substance abuse issues.
Restore’s Georgia programs provide bilingual professional and paraprofessional staff.
