What we do - neurobehavioral rehabilitation

Restore Neurobehavioral Center provides community based, residential services specializing in both the treatment as well as long-term support of adults who have experienced a brain injury with a combination of functional limitations and an inability to appropriately self regulate behavior.

Restore offers two distinct levels of care :  Post-Acute Residential Rehabilitation Program and Supported/ Community Living Programs.

At Restore we incorporate the treatment environment, treatment strategies, and our philosophy of care, to help attain the most optimal functional levels.  Our goal is to assist each individual in the acquisition of skills to enable him or her to be as successful as possible in the least restrictive environment possible and promote community inclusion and family adjustment to lives that have been changed as a result of an acquired brain injury.

Changes in personality and behavior after a brain injury often impact a person’s ability to fully participate in other rehabilitation programs for maximum functional recovery.  In some cases, compromised ability to self regulate behaviors evolves later and/or persists, over time threatening the breakdown of support systems placing the individual at risk for a pattern of additional injury and/or repeat encounters with psychiatric placements or legal systems.
